- 2 cups peas
- 1/2 medium yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 carrot
- 2 tbps miso paste
- 4 cups water or vegetable stock
- 2 tbps olive oil
METHOD Slice the garlic, chop the onion, carrots and saute them with olive oil in a medium pot for 3-5 minutes on medium heat.
Add the peas, miso paste, water or stock and stir everything. Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
Transfer all the pot content into a blender and liquidise until you get a creamy and smooth texture.
Serve with fried crispy onion slices.
