  1. 500 g tailed raw king prawns
  2. 450 g all purpose flour
  3. 1 pinch of salt
  4. 15 g dry yeast
  5. 2 cups of luke warm water
  6. 1 pinch of saffron (optional)
  7. vegetable oil for deep frying
  1. Mix flour and salt into bowl. Make a well. Melt the yeast into the water and pour it in the well little by little until the batter is a smooth paste.
  2. Let it sit at least 45 minutes before use.
  3. Dip the king prawns into the orly batter and carefully deep fry them in hot oil until crisp and golden.
  4. Lay them in a plate covered in kitchen paper before serving them.
