Smoked Salmon and Spinach Twirls

These beautiful smoked salmon and spinach twirls, accompanied with a glass of sparkling wine, prosecco or champagne, are the perfect choice at parties or to whet your appetite. They are crisp, fragrant and of course irresistible…just like cherries, one leads to the other. Not only adults, but even kids will enjoy and love them. They are extremely quick and simple to prepare, and this version, with smoked salmon and spinach, it’s just an example of several ways. INGREDIENTS

puff pastry ready roll
sliced smoked salmon
baby spinach leaves
cream cheese
fresh dill
black pepper


METHOD

Unroll the pastry roll on a flat surface.

Lay the slices of smoked salmon on the pastry.

Spread a thin layer of cream cheese using a butter or table knife.

Sprinkle with fresh dill and black pepper.

Top with plenty of baby spinach leaves.

Roll the pastry from the widest side and make sure it has a round shape.

Using a sharp serrated knife, cut in slices 1 cm thick.

Lay them on a oven tray covered with baking paper.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C until golden brown.
